MEGAPOLITANPOS.COM: Kosovo - Prof. Dr. Agim Rushiti was born on June 11, 1964 in Kumanovo, Macedonia. He completed primary and secondary school in his hometown. He is the first graduate professor of mathematics from the city of Kumanova, in the FSHMN - branch of mathematics, at the University of Pristina. He received his doctorate at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje. During his many years of professional career, starting in 1988, he worked as a mathematics professor in a secondary school and its director, to continue as an independent republican pedagogical adviser for mathematics at the Bureau for the Development of Education in Macedonia, a special adviser to the Minister for Education and Science in Macedonia, responsible for the Sector for Support of the Minister for Education and Science, responsible for the Sector for Primary Education, responsible for the Sector for Higher Education, responsible for the Sector for International Relations (all these within the Ministry of Education and Science of Macedonia). He was the first director of the Agency for Quality in Higher Education in Macedonia (2019-2023).

He is the author of a number of scientific works, publications and writings of various genres and a participant of many international conferences in the country and in the world.

He is the author of several books: "Terminological Dictionary of Mathematics", "Mathematical Minimathematician", "With veterans of Albanian education in Kumanovo and Likovë (1945-1950)", "With torches of Albanian education in the Municipality of Kumanovo and Likovë (1945) -1960)", "Student's rights and responsibilities in secondary schools", "The first lessons of elementary geometry in primary schools - Kristo Dako", "Preparation of guidelines for practical teaching for students of 

Pedagogical Faculties", etc.

He lectured in many institutions of higher education in Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia. Currently, he is a professor at "Saint Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje.

For his professional, national and creative work and commitment, he was rewarded with many recognitions, decorations and awards. Among them, we are highlighting: the "Distinguished Teacher" decoration, the highest award given by the Association of Albanian Educators "Naim Frashëri" (1992); The "Plaket of the City of Gjilan" decoration, awarded by the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, for the contribution to education in Kosovo (2005); "November Award of the City of Kumanovo" - the most prestigious award given by the Municipality of Kumanovo, for achievements in the field of education and training (2005); State decoration "Sh. Clement of Ohrid", the highest social decoration in the Republic of Macedonia, with the motivation "For two years of life in the field of education and training, of interest to the Republic of Macedonia", awarded in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (2008); The "Distinguished Worker" plaque, for the contribution given over the years, to the increase of knowledge in mathematics, distributed by KMI "Paskal" in Vlorë, Albania on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Albania (2012); The prestigious decoration "Golden Ant 2013 for the most influential Albanian in Macedonia", for the achievements of the year, in the Category: Scientific publications, literature and journalism, (Skopje, 2013);  Certificate of Appreciation Proudly presented, For Contribution of Peace Thought The Art & Science In Balkan And International, Wilmington Metropolitan University, 2023;  "The Charter Of Appreciation, As Ambassador for Peace, Education & Science", The Charter of Appreciation On behalf of The World Community, The World Peace Organization, hereby grants, The World Peace Organization, Peace, Health, Education & Prosperoty, The World Peace Organization, Jakarta, June 2, 2023; Ambassador for Peace, Education & Science, The World Peace Organization, Peace, Health, Education & Prosperity, 2023.
