Indonesia's Independence Day is a moment to celebrate the nation's struggle in achieving independence, maintaining unity, and building national progress.

Indonesia, with its rich cultural diversity and spirit of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), has demonstrated remarkable ability in nation-building and maintaining harmony amidst diversity. The spirit of independence proclaimed on August 17, 1945, continues to inspire the Indonesian people to advance and contribute to world peace.

The World Peace Organization fully supports the program of the Government of Indonesia led by President Prabowo Subiyanto in building PEACE AND PROSPERITY TOWARDS GOLDEN INDONESIA. This program is in line with the vision, mission, and pillars of WPO.

In supporting the Government of Indonesia, WPO has conducted various activities such as:

- Education for farmers, livestock breeders, fishermen, and MSMEs to become smart and independent to improve their economy and welfare.

- Skill development in schools, universities, and for out-of-school children so they can work and be independent.
- Reviving Local Cultural Wisdom in various regions in Indonesia through seminars, workshops on culture and arts, including the development of digital and AI-based technology.

- Collaboration with various elements such as blood donations, free health checks for eyes and teeth, posyandu (integrated health services), and free milk distribution to support community health programs.

The World Peace Organization appreciates Indonesia's role in efforts to maintain peace and international cooperation. We hope Indonesia continues to be an example for other countries in building peace, justice, and welfare for all.
